C'est le 2 février 2003 que Ai mit au monde un petit lapin nommé Love. Ce nom lui est donné en raison de celui de Otsuka: "Ai" qui signifie amour en Japonais comme "love" en Anglais. Love est un personnage dessiné en S.D. (super deformed), une technique de dessin majoritairement employé au Japon et qui se caractérise par "petit corps grosse tête". Dans tous les cas, c'est le côté kawaii qui est recherché. Ai dessine elle-même toutes les images de sa mascotte.
